 Copenhagen is not just a town in Denmark. Copenhagen is a premier city in Demark and Europe complete with rows of century old houses and architecture that places Copenhagen as its own attraction. However, there are so many things to see and do in Copenhagen to places this city on the list of must see destinations. Visitors to Copenhagen can experience the Tivoli Gardens. The Tivoli Gardens is a fairly small park in the center of the city that draws about three million visitors during the five month period during the summer. There is also a fireworks display that takes place in the park twice a week during the summer. There is also a theme park with arcades and thrill rides, concert halls, open stages, and circus shows are offered throughout the summer, many of these are free of charge. Copenhagen also offers several different art galleries that is a must see for any art lover. The top museum attraction is the Rosenborg Castle. This castle was designed by King Christian IV and also his home until his death in 1648. This castle still stands over 350 years later. This castle now is used as a museum to detail the history of the Denmark royal family including the storing of the Crown Jewels and royal clothing and other garb that is available to be viewed by the public.
